Swing by when it works for you! Get voter registration assistance, look up your voter information, ask questions, and learn more about the candidates on your ballot. Whether you’re registered, getting ready to vote, or just have questions, we’re here to help.

Active Citizenry Series
The Active Citizenry Series is a program consisting of various workshops held throughout the academic year that will allow participants to not only learn about both basic and complex governmental systems, but will also give participants insight on how they can become a part of our ever-evolving political world.
A College Student’s Guide to Voting
- When: Tuesday, September 1, from 7 to 8 p.m.
- Where: James H. Woodward Student Involvement Center (Suite 4210, Talley Student Union)
- Description: You’ll learn why voting matters, how to research candidates and understand elections and what civic engagement can look like beyond the ballot box. We’ll also explore North Carolina’s role in elections and provide practical tips for how, when and where to vote and get involved.

- Description: Polarization, bias, how your algorithm creates an echo chamber, fake news, mis/disinformation, and how to be a well-rounded reader.

Description: Ever wonder what the candidates on your ballot are running for, and how to identify which candidate is best? Election cycles can be an overwhelming information landscape, but there are tools to find credible and up-to-date information on your candidates, their positions, and where they stand on issues that matter to you. Join the NC State University Libraries and Student Leadership and Engagement for a workshop on starting the research process, understanding the responsibilities of candidates’ elected positions, and practicing evaluating information on candidates. There will be no promotion of individual candidates or platforms.
